Carving Tools

This is a heads up that Monday morning I will be listing the carving tools I have for sale after culling my collection. There are roughly 40 tools. There will be five photos of groups of tools and a list that describes the tools. Unlike eBay there is only one view of each tool. Others can be provided if needed. The pricing for both modern Pfeil tools and historic tools are roughly half of what the cost of similar Phil tool is currently from Woodcraft. I hadn’t looked at the Woodcraft prices for many years and had a mild shock! But at least almost all the various shapes and sizes of Pfeil tools are available which is not the case for other manufacturers.

My hope is that a buyer would be interested inmate than one tool. It saves on shipping and my time in packaging and trips to the shipper. The thought of taking multiple images of each tool and listed them individually on eBay is not attractive, though I understand I may end up going that route for tools that are not sold off the blog.

I will be back here Monday.

  1. It is really difficult to judge the quality of individual carving tools from such photos. Obviously many of the individual tools are not Pfeil, and it is not possible to determine the exact profiles.
